Upcoming Events No events found. c Full Calendar Principal's Message May 7, 2020 Dear Parents: Tomorrow, your child’s Progress Reports will be available online via PowerSchool. Student grades will be partially based on the new District revised grading policy set forth on April 22 nd due to C19 and the online schooling format. The criteria set forth by Superintendent, Dr. Rodriguez, is to be compassionate and flexible during this unprecedented time. Emphasis needs to be placed on evaluating a student’s performance and the extent of their demonstration of mastery in relation to essential standards necessary to progress to the next grade level. The lowest grade a child will receive is a 70 for Quarter 4. If you have any questions regarding accessing PowerSchool, contact Sherol Pheiffer at: sherol.pheiffer@beaufort.k12.sc.us or your child’s teacher. Please celebrate your child’s hard work (and yours) during this difficult time! For you to know, our school is having a lot of construction items happening this summer including HVAC updates, painting the inside and outside of the building, audio system updates in red auditorium, sod placement on the playground areas and major security upgrades including installation of multiple cameras. This is great news for all of us but is the reason why the District is asking us to drop off our devices (tablets-for grades 3-5) earlier than many schools.
